Thread-Heads

I'm a twenty-two year old from Southern California.
I grew up with My Little Pony and always adored the colorful fun loving characters.
I found out about customs from a few very talented friends, and decided to try it out myself.
Needless to say I fell in love with it, and want to bring my unique Thread Headed ponies to those of you here on DeviantArt!

My ponies are completely hand painted and sealed with a glossy top coat. They are re-haired with colorful threads, and each pony is numbered.

Many people ask why I rehair with thread, well the answer is simple~
I've always sewn and made my own clothes and costumes, including fursuits and renaissance fair garbs.

I love thread, I love the texture, and how beautiful it looks when grouped in strands. It is easy to mix, braid, cut, and style when rooted to a pony.

I'm a big fan of all generations of ponies, with G3&4 being my favorites.
